Hi, I’m Wendy! 

I’m an audio producer, storyteller, journalist, and podcast host. I recently hosted and produced Where I Belong, a narrated, story-driven podcast from Museum of Brisbane. And I produced Hi, I’m Eddie, a limited 6-part series that won top prize at the 2022 Australian Podcasting Awards in the Indigenous Category.

My accent is from California but my home has been Australia for most of the past two decades. In the US I was a reporter and producer for NPR affiliate Houston Public Media and a regular contributor to arts and culture magazines.

My stories have aired on NPR and American Public Media’s Marketplace. In recent years, I was a producer for ABC Radio National’s The Art Show and wrote a blog that told inspiring stories from nonprofits and social enterprises across Australia.

And, just to shake things up a bit, I’m currently based in Bogotá, Colombia.
